Every kid on the field! Here are eight simple ways that parents, coaches, and other loved ones can help their favorite child find success in the game of soccer.
1. Encourage them to practice their dribbling and shooting skills. Remember to show as much as enthusiasm for hard work as for actual success. Soccer for children should be a fun and light-hearted experience that focuses on improving teamwork and athletic skills, not winning.
2. Point out soccer as it appears in the media. There are many excellent books and magazines related to soccer, as well as documentaries and movies such as Bend It Like Beckham. Point out that heroes such as David Beckham and Pele achieved their status through hard work and fair play.
3. Allow them to experience a variety of soccer positions, either in a team during practice or one-on-one with a trusted adult. Similarly, allow them to try a variety of plays during practices and the game. You never know what skill will give your child a much needed chance to shine.

5. Emphasize teamwork. Soccer is not the only sport in which working together pays off in spades; life in general requires this essential skill. When you teach children to be good soccer players, you are giving them a skill that will take them far in life.
6. Teach the child to respect the coaches and referees. Learning how to deal politely with an authority figure is another life skill that will help children find success as they grow older.
7. Push them (but only a little). All kids want to stay home from practice when they are tired or have a favorite television show to watch. All soccer players want to quit after losing a game. Adults need to push children to stretch their boundaries and make the decisions necessary to achieve success. While pushing a child too much will turn them off the game entirely, not pushing them at all will practically guarantee failure.
8. Be a coach. More parents, grandparents, and other adults need to get involved in their children's soccer team. Every soccer league has a shortage of coaches and other adults so don't think your offers of assistance will go ignored. There is more than enough work to go around.

The next thing you have to secure is the level, pieces of good lumber (4x4's) and a piece of two by four for the crossbar. You would also need some nails, tape measure and concrete mix for the goal post foundation.
The first thing in order to build a soccer goal is to dig the two necessary holes. After mixing the concrete mix, pour it in the hole where the post is supposedly standing. Before the concrete has dried, make sure that the crossbar is already attached at the top of the crossbar and flat by the aid of the level. The next thing you have to do is to wait for the concrete to harden before you can start playing and enjoying together with your kids. The concrete will take two to three days to cure.

I saw this product advertised and decided it would be wonderful for my son and daughter. After watching the instructioanl DVD and really figuring out how to fully benefit from the training aid, we put it in our backyard & it has been there ever since. I have watched my children, who are 7 and 10, improve their kicks tremendously. We have adjusted the bungee many a time now. This product is a different than advertised. It doesn't really work as well as described, but it has its uses. You can still benefit from using it, but the quality of shooting on target is extremely difficut to manage as the ball bag slows the ball down considerably making your shot difficult to judge on its power and accuracy. 2. Reverse Scissors
The Reverse scissors looks more complicated than it is. Simply roll the ball
sideways across your body, throw a scissors fake and cut in the opposite
direction.
3. 360 moves
This move is usually applied when there's a number of opponents around you or
when you're on the wing. It's most effective if you do it at first touch, instead of
trapping the ball.
4. Cruyff moves
Approach the ball as if you're taking a kick, but plant your base foot slightly ahead of it. Now swing your "kicking" leg forward until it's fully extended and cut the ball under your body.
5. Double cut
The double cut is a good way to shake off an opponent that is closely
jockeying you. This ought to give you a couple of second to pass or shoot the
ball.

In any team sports there are numerous fouls that you can draw. Some of them are major and some are small. In the sport of soccer, the small ones are often called with a warning. If these fouls continue by the same player then they will be given a yellow card and the major fouls are followed usually by a red card. All of this can be avoided by playing with good sportsmanship of course but just for reference; here are the different penalties and soccer fouls that you will encounter.
Yellow Cards
These are the most severe warnings before you are out of a game. Typically, they are given out for continuous rough playing, talking back or any other bad sportsmanship on the field such as kicking the ball out of bounds when the whistle has been blown.
Red Card
This means ejection. If you receive a red card your team will be down a man for the rest of the game and you will not be allowed to play in the following game. This is the most serious call. A lot of times it comes from fighting, unnecessary roughness, spitting, swearing. A lot of red cards come from getting two yellow cards in one game. In this situation, you are allowed to keep all eleven players but you are ejected.
Indirect Kicks
These are penalties awarded to a team when the game has been stopped because of a foul out of the play. An easier way to put that would be someone tripped somebody who did not have the ball. Indirect kicks have to be touched by two players on the same team before they can score. When a team is rewarded a free kick they have a player that touches the ball and the other player shoots the ball.
Direct Kick
This is when a player involved in the play gets fouled. Direct kicks do not need to touch two players. They can shoot it directly at the goal.
Penalty Kicks
Penalty kicks are when players are fouled in the 18 yard box. Penalty kicks are usually followed by a yellow card, if not a red card. Because these kicks are usually a goal, they are rarely given out. A lot of time the refs are sensitive and do not call fouls as often in the 18 yard line box. Another way that a penalty kick can be given would be a trip when a player has a break away.
All of these penalties can be avoided a couple of ways. Just play friendly and offer apologies. If you trip a player on accident, you should offer him an apologize and help him get up. If you show that you are truly sorry, the ref will not need to warn you. At the end of the game you should thank the coaches and refs. You will have the same refs at different games and after a while you build reputation with them. If it is a good one, you will often get fewer cards.

If every option is covered, a throw up the line to a teammate who can likely take control or flick it further of the field is the best option.
In the deep defensive third, throwing the ball to the goalie is also an option. Emphasis possession of the ball and low risk passes that are unlikely to get stolen.
On offense, many scoring opportunities are possible during a throw ins. The combination of a quick throw and a sleeping defender is a recipe for a ripe scoring opportunity. Make sure your team understands that there is no offside on a throw in, so if the defense is caught sleeping up the field, throw it in fast and go to goal. A kid that I played with during my youth had the ability to throw the ball to the penalty spot near the goal area, and we played it like a corner kick. If you are lucky enough to have someone with this ability, utilize it!
Spending time practicing throw-ins is not necessary as long as your players perform legal throw-ins that are effective given the situation and position on the field. On defense, this means not losing the ball where it can be stole by an opponent that can easily score. When you are attacking, you can be more risky and try to throw the ball into open space and make a run or simply maintain possession and move the ball around until an opportunity develops. At around $120 a bottle, you really need to know if it works or not. It works - but in a limited way. It certainly minimalizes puffiness under the eyes - it does a great job, but other products can do the same thing for less. As for minimalizing fine lines around the eyes, it does to a small degree. On me, it worked only on very fine lines but maybe you need deeper lines to see more drastic results. One big caution is that if you apply make-up over this product, you have to use an extremely light touch or you end up undoing all the tightening provided by this lotion. You only have to apply a very small amount (half pump) or else it will dry a flakey white. This is a good thing and will help make the bottle last for at least six months if used on a daily basis. I'm not against paying top dollar for products that work (Le Mer lotion is worth every penny at $210). I used to buy two jars a year but have recently stopped due to the cost/result ratio (for the amount it costs, I want more visible results). I highly recommend it for getting rid of under eye puffiness or deep shadows (in conjunction with concealer). You really need to go to Sephora, Saks Fifth Avenue or anywhere else where you can sample it first and see how it works for you before making the investment. Then buy it here as Amazon.com does have the best price (it's NEVER on sale at stores).
